We design private homes for families who will live in them long-term. The work is quiet by intention — built around stillness, light, and the rituals of a household, not the camera. Most of our work is never published.
We accept a limited number of residential commissions a year, alongside a small number of select commercial projects. Each residential commission takes between twelve months and three years.
A complete construction package, not a set of impressions. A typical villa package runs to hundreds of sheets: cover, drawing register, notes and symbols; flooring plans, tag plans and elevations for every floor; thirty or more sections drawn at 1:15 and 1:40; and a full set of coordinated services drawings — lighting and wiring, HVAC, water supply and plumbing — for the ground, first and roof levels. Alongside the drawings we issue itemised schedules for furniture, lighting, sanitary ware and appliances, specifying every element in the house. The contractor is not asked to interpret. He is asked to build what is drawn.
We coordinate, on every project without exception. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings are produced as part of the architectural package and reconciled against it, so lighting positions, HVAC routes, water supply and drainage are resolved against the ceilings, floors and joinery before anyone is on site. Coordination done on paper costs a revision. Coordination discovered on site costs a wall.
Yes, when it is wanted. Site supervision is a separate engagement with its own fee, and it is requested less often than you might expect — because the documentation is detailed enough that most contractors need very little arbitration. Where a client wants us present, we are.
Our work is built. Most of it is presented through our own visualisations produced from the construction drawings, because our clients' houses are private and we do not photograph them by default. A number of projects have been photographed on site after handover and are marked as such on the projects page. Introductions to past clients are possible after a first meeting, with their permission — never before, and never without asking them.

Initial conversations are by introduction. We meet once before accepting a commission, to understand the home and the family. There is no cost for this meeting, but we only schedule it with clients whose projects are a genuine fit for the studio.
Yes — most commissions are complete visions: architecture, interiors, landscape and lighting carried as one hand, from first drawing to final object.
